About & Quality
Who we are, how we work, and what holds it all together.
A clinically led behavioral health agency serving children, adolescents, adults, families, and care teams across North Carolina.
Who We Are
Andrews Counseling and Consulting, PLLC is a behavioral health agency supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and care teams. We specialize in outpatient therapy, trauma-informed care, autism and intellectual/developmental disability support, behavioral consultation, and coordinated services for individuals with complex needs.
Our Approach
ACC uses a person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and practical approach to behavioral health care. We recognize that mental health concerns often occur alongside family stress, developmental differences, disability, school challenges, social needs, and care-team involvement. Our goal is to help individuals and families build stability, skills, insight, and support systems that work in real life.
When appropriate and authorized, ACC collaborates with families, guardians, care managers, schools, physicians, residential providers, day programs, and other support teams to promote consistent care and practical follow-through.
Andrews Counseling and Consulting exists to help individuals, families, and care teams navigate mental health, trauma, autism, IDD, behavioral challenges, and real-life care complexity with compassion, structure, and clinical accountability.
Our hope
Our hope is simple: that every person we serve, and every family and team supporting them, leaves more stable, more capable, and more understood than when they came to us.
Leadership & governance
Clinician-founded. Clinically governed.
ACC is a clinically led behavioral health agency with experienced oversight in trauma-informed care, clinical supervision, complex needs, rehabilitation counseling, compliance, and behavioral health operations.
Our leadership team oversees clinical quality, supervision, documentation integrity, compliance, and staff development, so that every service we deliver is supported by structure, not left to chance. Leadership remains actively involved in clinical consultation, training, and care-team collaboration across the agency.
Built for complex care
More than one appointment, more than one provider.
ACC recognizes that behavioral health care often requires more than one appointment or one provider. Many clients have families, guardians, care managers, schools, residential providers, day supports, medical providers, and other professionals involved. Our internal workflows are designed to help our team track needs, coordinate follow-up, monitor documentation, and support timely communication.
Quality, safety & accreditation
Accredited by The Joint Commission.
Andrews Counseling and Consulting, PLLC is accredited by The Joint Commission under the Behavioral Health Care and Human Services program. Accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to quality, safety, ethical practice, and continuous improvement.
ACC is committed to quality, safety, privacy, ethical practice, and continuous improvement. Our work is guided by clinical standards, person-centered care, trauma-informed practice, documentation integrity, and ongoing attention to the needs of clients, families, staff, payers, and community partners.
Systems That Support Quality
ACC uses structured workflows and internal tracking systems to support quality improvement, documentation readiness, referral follow-up, staff accountability, and care coordination.
