Mental Health Care for Complex Needs

Compassionate Counseling. Structured Support. Coordinated Care.

Andrews Counseling and Consulting, PLLC provides behavioral health services for individuals, families, and care teams navigating mental health, trauma, autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, behavioral concerns, and complex support needs.

Many individuals and families do not fit neatly into one service category. A child, adolescent, or adult may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, IDD, learning differences, behavioral concerns, family stress, and care-team involvement at the same time. ACC helps individuals, families, and support teams better understand these overlapping needs and build practical paths forward.

What makes ACC different

Built for the overlap between mental health, developmental differences, trauma, and coordinated care.

When needs don't fit one category, most providers step back. That's where we begin.

Many of the people we serve are navigating trauma, anxiety, autism, IDD, ADHD, learning differences, behavioral challenges, and family stress, all at once. ACC was built for the overlap.

Most providers treat autism or mental health. We treat both.

The Bridge Program brings autism care and mental health care together for children, teens, and adults, with one team and one plan for the whole person. Covered by NC Medicaid for eligible individuals.

A behavior support plan only works if the people around the person can run it.

ACC stays through team training, observation, coaching, and fidelity support, so the plan lives in daily routines, not in a binder.

Trauma doesn't skip children with disabilities. Trauma treatment usually does.

ACC provides trauma-focused therapy, including TF-CBT when clinically appropriate, adapted for youth with co-occurring mental health and developmental needs, with caregivers involved every step. Now accepting referrals in the Alliance and Vaya networks.

We treat mental health in the context of real life.

Independence, daily functioning, school, work, and community participation: our rehabilitation-informed approach supports the whole person, including individuals living with brain injury and disability.

We work with your whole team, so the plan is one plan, not five.

Families, guardians, schools, care managers, support staff, and medical providers often each hold a piece. ACC coordinates across the team, with the structure and documentation to keep everyone aligned.
